Speaker Sessions & Bios
We’re only 2 weeks away from our next Indie Author Fringe conference and we’ve published the final group of speaker bios and session topics. This line-up of successful authors and industry experts will be presenting 24-hours of self-publishing advice to indie authors starting at 10am (Frankfurt time) on Saturday October 14th.
No don’t worry, you don’t have to book a ticket to attend the Frankfurt Book Fair to attend our Indie Author Fringe conference. Our event will be accessible online around the globe, so no matter what your time zone you can visit this website any time after the 10am start time to watch and listen to the speaker sessions.
We’re announcing the agenda times and running order next Saturday, and once this free online conference has started we’ll be releasing at least one new session each hour.
We’re bring you some indie nuggets from Frankfurt Book Fair
ALLi Director Orna Ross is attending the Frankfurt Book Fair on our behalf and her team will be on hand to record some of the sessions that are happening live at the event, then they’ll be featured as part of our Indie Author Fringe event. The best thing about our Fringe event is that thanks to the generosity and support of our speakers and sponsors, it’s free to attend.
So you’ll walk away (figuratively speaking) from the event armed with advice and industry insights that will help you achieve your indie author goals, no matter where you are on your author journey.
Many of the speakers are also offering free giveaways that you’ll be able to enter on the day. There’s a variety of offerings, ranging from software, access to online courses, coaching, ebooks, print books, and audio books – and these are all free offerings from our generous speakers.
Just visit the speaker sessions on the day to enter for your chance to win.

Book Cover Competition
Our Back Cover book competition is being sponsored by Nuance who are the people behind Dragon Professional software.
Our competition has two categories: fiction and non-fiction. You have the options of submitting just your back cover or the full wrap-around cover. So if you haven’t already entered the back cover of your print book into our competition – don’t delay.
If you’re not familiar with Dragon Professional it’s speech recognition software that can dramatically increase your daily word count output. Plus, if like me and many other authors, you suffer from RSI (repetitive strain injury) – having your own Dragon is beneficial to your health.
Want to help us spread the word about our online conference?
You can visit our Spread the Word page to find out how you can use your social media, blog, and mailing lists to help us get the word to other indie authors that are yet to discover this free event.
Thanks in advance for helping us get the word out to a wider audience. There are writers out there who are looking for that nudge of inspiration to become a self-published author – let’s work together to make sure they achieve their indie author goals by exposing them to valuable and reputable advice from our Speakers.
Upcoming News and Information
Next Saturday we’re going to publish and promote our full agenda so you can see when the session you don’t want to miss has been scheduled for.
We’ll also be publishing instructions on how you attend our online conference, and what to expect on the day.
