Our Story
SelfPubCon began life in 2013 as IndieReCon, created by indie authors seeking to share knowledge freely. The Alliance of Independent Authors (ALLi) took over the event in 2015, evolving it into Indie Author Fringe and eventually SelfPubCon — an independent, international, and entirely online conference built for the needs of modern authors.

How SelfPubCon works
SelfPubCon is designed to fit around the realities of being an indie author.
The main conference takes place online across two days, with sessions released throughout the weekend. Depending on the year’s programme, you’ll find a mix of live and pre-recorded sessions, interviews, discussions, workshops and opportunities to connect with other authors.
You can join sessions live, take part in the conversation and networking, or catch up with replays during the available access period.
And the learning doesn’t necessarily end when the conference does.
ALLi members and conference access-pass holders can continue their SelfPubCon experience with access to the conference archive.
