As we near the end of the year, the Alliance of Independent Authors AskALLi team wanted to use December to look back at 2020 and the range of ultimate guides and posts we've created to help you write, publish and market your books. When you reach a certain point in sales, your eye naturally turns towards licensing as an option. It's hard to sell books in a language you don't speak, or if you don't have the skill to create audiobooks perhaps licensing those rights is a way to create revenue. Or perhaps you want to license merch or sell film and TV rights. Whatever your desire, once you surpass 50,000 sales of a book, rights buyers become interested.
