During November we asked our members to tell us about their successes during 2019. Today, ALLi member Kayleigh Brindley rounds up some of our partner member successes from 2019.
Partner Member Successes 2019
Partner Member, Russell Phillips, told ALLi that his highlight this year was hearing one of his clients on the ALLi Inspirational Indie Authors Podcast.
In 2019, Mary Crawford started writing books to help other authors. She now has two books available on dictation alongside, An Everyday Guide to Scrivener 3 for Mac.
Partner Member, Joseph Alexander is celebrating after creating over 50 translations in just 4 months thanks to a combination of AI and a team of editors.
It's a NetGalley win for Partner Member, Laurence O'Bryan, who passed 5,000 reader reviews received for authors through their NetGalley+ service since mid-2017!
For Louanne Piccolo, 2019 has seen the approval of her proposal to teach a course on editing children's picture books (a course for editors) by the Editorial Freelancers Association.
“I'm very excited about it because picture books are a child's first impression of reading and good picture books can make an impression that lasts a lifetime. So it's really important for editors to know their stuff when editing this type of kidlit.”
