These will showcase a range of evergreen principles (Marketing Book) and practical promotional tools (Promotion Book) that have proven effective in the independent publishing space.

Here are the kind of success stories we’d love to hear from you for consideration by the editors:

1. Creative Marketing Approaches

  • Unique campaigns that helped you stand out in a crowded market, whether online or offline.
  • Out-of-the-box strategies that aligned with your author brand and resonated with your audience.

2. Leveraging Evergreen Principles

  • Examples of timeless marketing techniques that continue to deliver results, such as email list-building, content marketing, or social media engagement.
  • Ways you’ve successfully built long-term relationships with readers or book communities.

3. Effective Use of Promotional Tools

  • Specific tools or platforms you used to achieve notable success, like Amazon Ads, BookBub, Kickstarter, or other book promotion services.
  • Your experience with tools for managing your author platform, such as newsletters, websites, or reader-focused platforms like Substack or Patreon.

We’re particularly interested in contributions that provide actionable takeaways for other indie authors, complete with measurable results or examples of what worked well.
