Writing this post on Black Friday, when most of the internet seems to be seeking to wrestle money from us, I'm pleased to be writing about giving you money instead!
Extra Income Streams through Affiliate Marketing
When you're an indie author, it makes sense to have as many income streams as you can so that your financial health is not dependent on peaks and troughs in book sales.
Affiliate marketing enables you to earn you a steady trickle of income simply by recommending a product or service you trust and believe in.
ALLi members will already be aware that they are automatically enrolled in our affiliate scheme on joining our organisation. In return for displaying your membership badge or banner in which your unique membership number is embedded, you will automatically receive 30% of the first year's membership fee for any new member who joins via your link.
Many members more than cover their annual membership fee this way – as well as saving huge amounts via our many discounts and deals available exclusively to members.
NB It's not enough to simply copy the image from another member's site: you have to log in to our membership website to download the badge/banner that incorporates your code.
Extra Income for Christmas
If you're already a member of ALLi:
- If you haven't already installed your coded badge, do so now and you could generate from useful extra income in time for Christmas. It takes only moments to set up your badge on your website, email footer and anywhere else online that you think appropriate, and any affiliate fees will be credited automatically to your Paypal account – you don't need to do a thing!
(Log into our membership website for instructions.) - You might also consider gifting ALLi membership to author friends and relations.
Top tip: pay them the membership fee on conditon that they join via your author code, and you'll get back 30% of the value of your gift as an affiliate fee!
