From new ways for readers to discover your books, to practical learning opportunities and deeper support for author wellbeing, here at ALLi, 2026 is all about helping you overcome challenges, publish great books, and feel less alone while doing it.
Here’s a closer look at some of the big developments ahead and how you can get involved.

1. THE INDIE AUTHOR BOOKSTORE
A New Home for Indie Books
One of our most anticipated 2026 launches is the Indie Author Bookstore, ALLi’s very own discoverability platform, designed to showcase the work of our author and authorpreneur members and help readers find great indie books more easily.
This is a curated space of indie-authored books, giving readers a one-stop destination to explore the breadth, quality, and creativity of ALLi authors worldwide.
The bookstore is currently in its soft launch phase, with the official launch taking place at the London Book Fair on March 10th and 11th. Author members can now upload their books, ready for full public visibility.
ALLi members, you can download step-by-step instructions to guide you through making your books look beautiful and discoverable inside the store.
Or revisit our ‘Upload Your Books with Me’ session for a visual guide.
For ALLi authorpreneur members with large catalogues, more guidance to help you upload and manage your books will be with you as soon as possible.
2. INDIE AUTHOR MINDSET AND WELLBEING
Support Through Mentoring
Publishing independently is empowering but it can also be isolating, overwhelming, and mentally demanding. That’s why we’re introducing our brand-new Mindset & Wellbeing Through Mentoring initiative in 2026.
Starting February 5th, these monthly live sessions will create regular space for honest conversations about what it really means to be an indie author today. Expect discussions that blend business realities and publishing practicalities with deeper reflections on motivation, resilience, and creative wellbeing.
This initiative is also about mutual mentoring; learning from one another, sharing experiences, and supporting each other.
Check the ALLi events calendar on the ALLi Member Forum to RSVP for upcoming sessions and be part of this new supportive space. If you’re interested in mentoring others, reach out to Sarah via [email protected].
3. INDIE AUTHOR LAB 2026
In Association with The London Book Fair
For authors who love practical, hands-on learning, we’re delighted to introduce the Indie Author Lab, taking place on March 11th in association with the London Book Fair.
Indie Author Lab is for independent authors who want focused, practical support—not another sit-and-listen conference.
In one working day, you’ll get:
- Small-group mentoring with leading indie authors and industry experts
- Hands-on workshops and guided workbooks
- Time and space to work through your current publishing challenges
- Meaningful networking in a calm, indie-author-first setting
- Amazon KDP sponsored drinks party
You’ll be learning directly from experts including Joanna Penn, Orna Ross, Sacha Black, Chelle Honiker, Melissa Addey, Karen Inglis, Thad McIlroy, Debbie Young, and more.
Can’t attend in person? We’ve got you covered. Digital tickets will soon be available, giving you access to session replays and live Q&As with expert speakers.

4. Partner Webinars & Ongoing Learning
The learning doesn’t stop with our flagship events. Throughout 2026, ALLi will continue to host partner webinars and online events every week, helping you stay up to date with the latest tools, platforms, and opportunities in self-publishing.
Upcoming sessions include webinars with Plottr, PublishDrive, Publish Me, Book Award Pro, and more. Each will feature live Q&As so you can get answers tailored to your specific publishing goals.
Alongside these, our monthly digital events calendar will feature Q&A sessions with ALLi advisors and industry experts, mentoring meet-ups, and new-member orientations.
