Matty Dalrymple podcasts, writes, speaks, and consults on the writing craft and the publishing voyage as The Indy Author. She has written books on the business of short fiction and podcasting for authors, and her articles have appeared in Writer’s Digest magazine. She serves as the campaigns manager for the Alliance of Independent Authors. Karen Inglis is an international best-selling children’s author based in London. She writes picture books, chapter books, and middle-grade novels. Her time-travel adventure The Secret Lake—for ages 8 to 11—has sold over half a million copies in English and has been translated into 11 languages. Her picture book The Christmas Wish was shortlisted for the 2019 Selfies Awards, while The Tell-Me Tree (ages 4 to 8) is frequently used in U.K. schools to help children express their feelings. I said this in another comment, but Gatekeeper Press does not give 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you are unsatisfied they will only fix things if you sign an NDA. They also charge really high fees for poor quality work. It’s sad but true. I lost a lot of money and was caused a lot of stress. They also confiscated over $600 in royalties for books I asked them to remove from distribution. I had to have IngramSpark get that done on my behalf. I cannot understand how you all support this.
