ALLi News: Opening Up to Indie Authors and event updates

As you would have (hopefully!) epub well heard, our Opening Up to Indie Authors campaign and guidebook launched recently, and following on from the guidebook's exclusive release on the Kobo platform, you can also now purchase your copy of the eBook on Amazon – or choose your format via the Self Publishing Advice shop.

We’re delighted by the conversations we are having surrounding the book, including some fine coverage and great debate via Porter Anderson’s #EtherIssue last week – well worth catching up on if you have the time.

In the meantime, download your copy now – and don’t forget your copy is free if you are an ALLi member. Check out the Discounts and Deals section of the main ALLi  website shortly, where we have info on how to redeem by the 1st of May.  If you haven’t got your copy yet, now is the time.

Changes to our monthly seminars

Our monthly seminars are a great way for our members and SPA readers to catchup on the latest ways to self-publish. But we want to include you even more – which is why our format will be changing very soon. What this means is that members will find it easier to pose their own questions to our experts online – stay tuned, as there will be more to follow.

Event Reminder – Understanding Ingram

Finally, a quick reminder for our upcoming event with Robin Cutler of IngramSpark, who’ll be chatting to Orna Ross about the Spark platform, and what it means for indie authors. Get your diaries out and thinking caps on, the Understanding Ingram event will kick off at 7pm GMT / 3pm EST / 12pm PST on the 29th of April. As ever, you can join live on the day by heading over to  http://www.youtube.com/user/IndieAuthorALLi – and for our members that can't make it, the video will be posted in the members section afterwards.
