Perform at ALLi's LBF Indie Author Fringe Fest Open Mic

If you are attending London Book Fair, your invitation to ALLi events can be found above.

Alongside our other activities, we are also running our first Indie Author Fringe Festival – an open mic evening for indie authors, sponsored by Kindle Direct Publishing/CreateSpace and compered by Joanna Penn.

If you’d like to read or perform there, simply fill in this form and Joanna will be in touch soon.

Takes place Wednesday 9th April, 7pm.

At LBF, ALLi will also launch our #PublishingOpenUp campaign. Follow the hashtag on Twitter to see the latest on the campaign – including our guidebook launch, petition and lobbying of the wider book industry. If you support this campaign, you can sign our petition here. You can join ALLI, The Alliance of Independent Authors, here.

  1. I hope Orna will ask Mark if Kobo plans to develop an author profile page for their site like Amazon has. It really makes a difference, especially with readers who want to know more about a certain author and her/his books, links, tweets, etc.

  2. Yay! SO glad you’ve put this here today – I MAY be able to make the LBF, since my dentist has re-scheduled everything and no elective extractions on April 4th… Just have to work out a few other bits like the cash and the place to sleep…
