The Alliance of Independent Authors has teamed up with Dr Alison Baverstock of Kingston University to carry out a self-publishing survey this autumn.
To make it work, we need you to go to this link http://www.surveymonkey.
It won't take you more than ten minutes to complete and answers will be used to build a picture of how authors are using the techniques and processes of self-publishing, and the impact this has on their writing, and their relationships with agents and trade publishers.
The findings will be presented at a key conference on mass communication in Signapore later this year. And Dr Baverstock will be able to separate the analysis of information about self-publishing in general from the trends among our membership in particular -- so it's going to be really very useful to us all.
We need it done by September 10th but if you do it right NOW, you won't forget. It only takes 10 minutes. All responses are anonymous. You're welcome to pass the link on to friends and colleagues who self-publish who are not (yet!) members of the Alliance.
