Very interesting exchange. I should be launching my first audiobook in the next few months, and I debated long and hard about ACX v. Findaway Voices. I chose the latter because there are no long-term contracts, and the exposure is broader. One is not simply limited to Audible (Findaway will put your book on Audible, though the royalties are less than going ACX-exclusive), and FV can get one’s book into libraries as well. The final nudge I needed toward FV was the message that popped up on my Spotify account telling me I could download audiobooks. Fingers crossed my choice goes the way I plan!
