Over the coming months, ALLi will be unveiling a whole new round of improvements and upgrades, but for the moment, we are winding down what has been a lively and informative conference season.
We've just finished exhibiting, speaking and networking at Book Expo America's Author Hub and UPublishU conference in New York. Now our last two outings for 2014 are in the UK: at Winchester Writers' Conference on 20/21 June and The Literary Conference at The Free Word Centre (the only centre in the world devoted to literacy, literature and free expression and ALLi's home in London), the previous weekend 13/15.
If you're attending either event, please let us know so we can hook up there!
Book Expo America brought us great new ideas and connections, and we look forward to bringing you many benefits arising from connections and collaborations sparked there.
Speaking of sparks, onto this week's main news item – an extension to our existing discounts from IngramSpark.
ALLi members are eligible for one year’s free subscription to Ingram Spark’s Global Market Access programme – making your titles available to over 39,000 retailers, libraries and e-retailers in their network. What’s more, if your global book sales exceed 100 copies or more in any given year, you’ll continue to receive Global Market Access for free on a yearly basis.
Our recent review for Choosing A Self-Publishing Service gave Ingram a rating of 8/10 and they are keen to take that even higher. We feel Ingram provides a uniquely useful offering, especially on print, and particularly if you have an interest in seeing your print book in bookstores and we've been working with them on improving their ebook offering too … so watch that space over the coming months.
Redeeming is easy – if you are a member of ALLi, just head over to the discounts and deals section of our main website. And if you are not – well, it surely adds up to yet another reason to join us!
This is great news! I have been considering Ingram spark for some time, for sure I will be subscribing to you soon.
I am waiting for my design to be ready.
Thank you so much!
Good News. I’m about to use both Ingram and CreateSpace for the print version of my new novel. Will feed back on both in due course.
