SelfPubCon — short for The Self-Publishing Advice Conference — is the longest-running free online event dedicated exclusively to independent authors. Launched in 2013 as IndieReCon, and later known as Indie Author Fringe, this virtual gathering has evolved into a powerhouse of inspiration and practical advice for indie authors worldwide. How It All Began
SelfPubCon began life in 2013 as IndieReCon, created by indie authors seeking to share knowledge freely. The Alliance of Independent Authors (ALLi) took over the event in 2015, evolving it into Indie Author Fringe and eventually SelfPubCon — an independent, international, and entirely online conference built for the needs of modern authors.
