The Author’s Best Friend: How to Ignite your Email Lists

Format: Video with Nick Stephenson & Joel Friedlander

Orna Ross moderates a discussion between two of the best minds in author marketing, both avid believers in email list-building: Joel Friedlander and Nick Stephenson. You’ll learn how to build a practical strategy that brings together your writing, the needs of your readers, and your own personality and working style. Also discussed: the three dimensions of a good email marketing strategy (hint: it’s not just about the traffic) and  a ton of great methods — some of which Joel and Nick use themselves — guaranteed to explode your list(s).

Nick Stephenson was born and raised in Cambridgeshire, England and will now refer to himself in the first person. My approach to writing is to hit hard, hit fast, and leave as few spelling errors as possible. I write thrillers and suspense novels, and the occasional witty postcard, all of which are designed to get your pulse pounding. Don’t let my headshot fool you – I’m actually full colour, on most days.

My books are a mixture of mystery, action, and humour. If you’re looking for a good place to start, take a look at my Leopold Blake series of thrillers, available soon through Amazon, Sony, Barnes & Noble, and the iTunes store. You can grab copies in either ebook or paperback. If you want to get in touch to let me know how awesome (and humble) I am, or if you have a project you might want to work with me on, you can contact me using the details at the bottom of the page.
