Derek Murphy started an editing company while pursuing an MA in English Literature in Taiwan, which morphed into a book cover design business. Over the past decade he’s spoken at a number of writing conferences and built dozens of online tools and resources to help indie authors publish better books.
Now he’s finishing his PhD in Literature and focused on writing his own fiction – YA fantasy books – so he can fully test out the easiest ways to build an author platform quickly, get more visibility and sell more books.
