Final Call To UK Indie Authors: Come to The London Book Fair 2014.

ALLi LBF invitationDon't miss out. If you self-publish or would like to, and you live in the UK, hop onto a train or plane or into your car and get to The London Book Fair (LBF) tomorrow or Weds and join in the Alliance of Independent Authors‘s exciting line-up of events for the fair.

“There was a time when authors had no place at book fairs. Now they most certainly have”, explains Orna Ross, Director of ALLi. “LBF fair offers education, information, contacts, and a global marketplace for rights negotiation, and the sale and distribution of your content across print, audio, TV, film and digital channels.

“Savvy indie authors are now breaking and boosting their books at such fairs, most notably London, BEA and Frankfurt book fair, which is why you'll find The Alliance of Independent Authors there.”

ALLi launched at London Book Fair two years ago and last year “Everybody was talking of 2013 as “the year of the author” at LBF”, says Ross. “It was undeniable. The Author Lounge offered a non-stop, stimulating stream of packed out events, and authors were clearly avid to connect. On more than one occasion, there was concern that the area was becoming a fire hazard.”
