For a single mother who’s always had someone else to take care of, Rose is finally wondering how to take care of herself.
Handsome Mateo Romero is a transplanted Spaniard running a restaurant on Lake Como in Italy. When Mateo hires Rose’s daughter for a summer job and gives her a free place to stay, Rose immediately suspects the worst. She won’t let her daughter make the same mistake she did at that age, so Rose flies to Italy to confront Mateo.
What Rose finds instead is a secret she didn’t suspect and a challenge to everything she’s ever thought about love and the illusion of control.
Rose’s daughter doesn’t need saving, but can Rose save herself?”

Loving Harry is a novel about two women in love with the same deeply flawed man. It is the story of how each woman, in her turn, manages to make a new life for herself despite everything. At the heart of the story are secrets that Harry has been hiding from them and that they have been hiding from him.

Review by Debs Jenkins, editor of NativeSpain.com
Loving Harry – the story of two fascinating women, with Harry as their connection. The novel moves seamlessly between the UK & Spain and takes us on a journey, over 20+ years in the lives of these two successful women who love Harry. A moving tale of love affairs, marriage, sorrow, desertion, secrets, career changes and death.
There are many “Harrys” here in the south of Spain, hiding from baggage, debts or family; making a new life for them; wiping the slate clean. But perhaps we can never really escape from ourselves…

An Unknown Woman
ebook and print
After collaborating with ALLi members to produce the box-set Outside the Box: Women Writing Women, award winning author Jane Davis is celebrating the launch of her sixth novel, An Unknown Woman.
She says, “This book was always intended to be personal, but it became very real when life appeared to imitate art. After taking the decision to rid myself of personal baggage, it was my intention to explore how our identities are bound up in material possessions.
What happens if we lose everything we own? In February 2014 – three months after I started writing the novel – I had my answer. My sister lost her house to flooding. Everything she owned was washed away.” The shape of the book changed.
I just adored it!‘ Liza Perrat, author of Spirit of Lost Angels

Fouled: Indies Unlimited Series on Predatory Publishers
All authors and writers; on-line
We at Indies Unlimited have a mission – to inform, support, promote and assist Indie authors. To that end, for the month of March, Indies Unlimited is publishing a series of posts aimed at disclosing the names, methods and scams of vanity publishers.
We are doing this in part by sharing the experiences of authors who have been taken in by them. Other articles, such as the one posted there today by David Gaughrin, offer suggestions on how to avoid these traps, or how unhappy authors can deal with them most effectively.
There are some posts already on the site with many comments indicating how helpful and needed it is. We even have a post by one of ALLi's advisors, David Gaughrin.

I've launched an online forum called The Self-Publishing Hub, specifically dedicated to self-publishing.
I find there to be a couple of good, solid forums out there about self-publishing but not a central one.
The ones on Absolute Write and Kindleboards are sort of afterthoughts as opposed to a single meeting place.
The Self-Publishing Hub – An online forum dedicated to self-publishers internationally.
Come on by, meet some new people, and start a conversation!
