ALLi News: Exclusive Spark discounts and ALLi’s Gift Vouchers

It is the season of giving, so perhaps it’s no surprise we have not one but two pre-Christmas gifts for you in our latest news bulletin.

ingramspark-01An exclusive IngramSpark discount for ALLi Members

We are pleased to announce a special deal with IngramSpark service, offering all Alliance members some exclusive discounts. IngramSpark is the eBook publishing, print on demand and distribution service from Ingram, combining all these services into one simple platform. The discount offers quite a few benefits, so we thought we’d round up the range of discounts on offer.

  •  $37.50 for P + E (when done simultaneously)
  • $37.50 for a Print book
  • $20 for e-book only

As one of the few viable alternatives to KDP and Createspace, ALLi is working with Ingram to ensure our members have the greatest access to a range of resources for author-publishers. But there are quite a few discounts and a lot of information to process! So, to ensure we are giving you as much impartial advice on the Ingram service, stay tuned for a full round up and comparison from ALLi watchdog Ben Galley on the SPA blog this week.

Spark is also setting up a user group for feedback during the introductory phase of the platform, which ALLi members are most welcome to join and offer their thoughts. More to follow on that one.

    1. Kathryn,

IS does require barcodes. However, they will provide one for free when you use their cover template. They will also provide one if you don’t but they will put it anywhere they see fit and you won’t be able to edit or move it if you choose this option.

  1. I often visit your site and have noticed that you don’t update
it often. More frequent updates will give your website
higher rank & authority in google. I know that
writing content takes a lot of time, but you can always help yourself with miftolo’s tools which will shorten the time of creating an article to
    a few seconds.

  2. As a fairly new author and ALLi member who’s currently involved in the beta-read, editing and revision phase of his first book, I lack knowledge of the publishing process. I’m unsure which path to take – all-inclusive publishing service or independent service providers. I understand and appreciate the value of acquiring the service of a distributor such as Smashwords, but am unsure of the next step. Can someone please offer some advice as well as explain the fee structure announced regarding IngramSpark? Do they deliver the same services, or include such package services as editing, formatting and cover design? I suppose my questions may be answered this week, but I thought I’d get a jump on it. Thanks.

  3. I have tried twice to join ALLi, and have not had word that it worked. How can I find out whether I am now on the rolls, since I would like to sign up for the Ingram Spark discounts, but won’t until I know my membership is in place.

    1. Hi Wes, I will check with Geraldine (our Member Care Manager) but if you haven’t had an email from her, I’d guess that for some reason your payment didn’t come through. Somebody will be in touch with you within 24hours. Thanks so much for your interest in ALLi.
