If you’ve ever wondered what it is an editor does, and what an editor can do to transform your work, then this session is for you. Chaired by experienced editor Roz Morris, together with Andrew Lowe, Ricardo Fayet, and Laxmi Hariharan, this session will lift the lid on the editing process, warts and all.
Andrew is an author and editor with many years’ experience in consumer publishing. He’s written for magazines and newspapers, including The Sunday Times and The Guardian in the UK, and worked with major brands like GQ and Vogue.
Through his company Andrew Lowe Editorial he offers line and copy editing, manuscript assessment, and general copywriting, always working closely and collaboratively with authors to coax out the best possible version of the book. His first novel The Ghost was published via Matador in 2015. He’s currently working on the follow-up to be published later this year.
“Dorian Cook is a jaded film critic, haunted by a horrific act of violence that defined his impoverished childhood. As Dorian’s past invades his present, he is forced to step out of the shadows, protect his family and fight for his life. Death and rebirth. Revenge and redemption. THE GHOST is a dark, disturbing psychological thriller which shows how an ordinary man can be driven to do extraordinary things.”
